Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, announced that the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the university has secured fourth place in the Egyptian Health Council exams among the thirty-four dental faculties participating in the first round of the 2024 professional licensing exam.
The university president added that the university is committed to monitoring the outcomes of the educational process and preparing students effectively for the job market with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
Dr. Badawy Shehat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, emphasized that passing the Egyptian Health Council exam is a requirement for obtaining a professional license valid for five years.
Dr. Ahmed Talaat Tamirak, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, stated that the Egyptian Health Council conducts exams with the relevant authorities qualified for health professions.
Tamirak expressed gratitude to the university president and the vice president for education and student affairs for their support of various sectors within the university and their commitment to developing the educational process and enhancing students’ skills according to the latest practices.
