Under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, and under the supervision of Dr. Badawi Shahat, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Discovery and Care of Talented, Gifted, and Creative Students at the University, the university organized an awards ceremony for the 2024 Start-up Olympics competition among Egyptian universities in collaboration with the Fund for Innovation and Talents at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The event was attended by Dr. Abbas Mansour, former president of the university, Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Ms. Taroub Talabah, Assistant Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Hani Ahmed Atallah, Executive Director of the Center for Discovery and Care of Talented, Gifted, and Creative Students at the University, as well as deans of the university’s faculties, faculty members, staff, and students.
At the end of the ceremony, shields of the competition were presented to the university president, vice presidents, former president, and executive director of the Center for Discovery and Care of Talented, Gifted, and Creative Students at the University, and the Director-General of Student Care Administration at the University. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to the judging committee members and professors who supervised the competition.
