The Anti-Violence Against Women Unit presents a seminar on “Women’s Self-Care” at the Faculty of Agriculture.


Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, Dr. Mohamad Saeed, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental development, and the supervision of Dr. Essam Abdel Hady, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr. Montaser Hamdoun, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Anti-Violence against Women Unit at South Valley University organized a seminar entitled “Women’s Self-Care”, which has held at the Faculty of Agriculture, in the presence of Dr. Rafat Shibah El-Hamd, and Dr. Rafat Alawy, where Dr. Hala Khair Sinari, Professor of Mental Health and Director of the Anti-Violence against Women Unit at the university, addressed the concept of self-care for women, its goals and importance for women, and the elements of self-care, and also provided a set of tips to promote mental health, and then trained the audience on some self-care strategies, in addition, Dr. Abeer Abdul Mu ‘iz, Coordinator of The Anti-Violence Against Women Unit at the Faculty of Agriculture, addressed the Unit’s role in supporting university students, the Unit’s various objectives and activities, and the complaint mechanism ensuring a safe university environment against all forms of violence and discrimination, while Prof. Raqiya Aladdin, administrative coordinator of the Unit, presented the vision and mission of the Unit and how to obtain the various services provided by the Unit.
