Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akawy, President of South Valley University, has adopted the admission rules for students to housing in university hostels for the academic year 2023/2024, which stipulates that any person registered on El-Zahraa website for the administration of university hostels shall meet the following conditions:
First: For female students
– The old students residing in the previous year who are rated (excellent – very good) are accommodated in all colleges.
– New commer students born in 2006 fully accommodated, and months 12 – 11 – 10 – 9 – 8 of 2005.
Second: For male students.
– Old students residing in the previous year and are rated (excellent – very good) are accommodated.
– New students born in 2006 fully accommodated, and from months 12 – 11 – 10 – 9 – 8 of 2005.
Third: For the first voucher fees and monthly accommodation fees.
– For the first voucher, all students who meet the conditions of residence in the university hostels can pay an amount (485 EGP) first voucher fee through all payment channels.
– The monthly fee after that is (Pound350) including meals.
– Students who pay the first voucher fee can get in starting on Sunday, 1/10/2023.
Third: About housing in the university hostels for new students (phase III).
Prof. Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice-president of the University for Education and Students Affairs, said the application will be initiated from Saturday, 16/9/2023, until Thursday, 21/9/2023.
Fourth: for petitions received from difficult and pressing social situations.
The General Management of University hostels is mandated to receive petitions from Wednesday, 13/9/2023, till Wednesday, 4/10/2023, from cases, which student housing conditions did not apply and they are in dire need of housing due to social, economic, and health conditions, and prepare a listed of those admitted and offer it to the Committee to approve their housing at the next meeting.
