Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of the University, has witnessed the 7th annual celebration of Orphans Day organized by Community Service and Environmental Development Sector .He asserted the importance of organizing that celebration to draw attention to the plight of the orphans who have no surviving parent to care for them, having lost both parents, either as a result of bereavement or by being abandoned .He also called the public to give them new start in life and to know that they are part of our society. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Dean of Faculty of Physical Education, referred to the faculty’s participation in the celebration with many shows. At the end, gifts were distributed to children.
