The 4th graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, South Valley University


Under the auspices of Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, the graduation ceremony of the fourth class of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine was held in the presence of Dr. Abbas Mansour, the former university president, Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Tariq Salah El-Din, Chairman of the Oral and Dental Medicine Faculties Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Ahmed Talaat Tamrik, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Majed, a Senator, and Adel Ahmed Mustafa, Secretary General of the University, and Dr. Khaled Hussein, Head of the Dental Syndicate in Qena.

In his speech, Dr. Badawy Shahat conveyed the greetings of Dr. Youssef Gharbawy to the attendees and his congratulations to the graduates, wishing them success in their career. Emphasizing the importance of acquiring experience, science and sincerity for the doctor, pointing out that Egypt is a country that has a historical balance in science and medicine, and graduates should give all their efforts for research and knowledge.

Dr. Tariq Salah El-Din stressed that continuous learning is an imperative for health workers and that success requires a tireless pursuit and continuous work to attain a prestigious status.

Dr. Ahmed Talaat Tamrik also reviewed the most important performance indicators for outpatient clinics and various services provided to patients and the continuous increase in the volume of support provided to the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine. He paid tribute to the President of the University for providing all means of support to the Faculty. He also congratulated the graduates of the fourth class of the Faculty.

Dr. Khaled Hussein, Head of the Dental Syndicate in Qena, gave the professional oath, and the graduates repeated the oath.

At the end of ceremony, Dr. Ahmed Talaat Tamrik presented shields to Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, the university president, Dr. Abbas Mansour, the former university president, Dr. Badawy Shahat, vice president for education and student affairs, Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, vice president for community service and environmental development, Dr. Tariq Salah El-Din, Chairman of the Oral and Dental Faculties Sector Committee, and Dr. Khaled Hussein, Head of the Dental Syndicate in Qena. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the top graduates and distinguished faculty members and their assistants.
