Major General Ashraf Al-Daoudi, Governor of Qena, chaired an expanded meeting with members of the Executive Committee of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects in order to discuss the proposed project plan within the activities of the initiative in the presence of Dr. Omar Hazem, Qena Deputy Governor, Eng. Nabil Al-Tibi, the Governorate’s General Secretary, and Mr. Mohamed Salah Abu Kreisha, the Assistant General Secretary, and others. He added that the launch of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects in all governorates is apart from hosting the COP27 Conference which will be held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh in November.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, referred to the university president recommendations to actively participate in the Initiative with the scientific expertise and various proposed projects.
