SVU Medical Campaign in Aldoum Island, Abu Tesht

Within the framework of the presidential initiative Haya Karima, South Valley University (SVU) organized a comprehensive campaign in Aldoum Island, Abo Tesht and included many fields as:
- Medicine: the campaign examined and treated 889 patients for free in the following specializations: Orthopedics (100 cases), Ear, Nose & Throat (75 cases), Gynecology and Obstetrics (100 cases), Psychiatry (9 cases), Pediatrics (118 cases), Dermatology (150 cases), and Internal Medicine (200 cases).
- Computers and Information: the campaign tried to educate people about the use of computers in various fields and the dangers of wrong use of computers and the Internet.
- Art Education: the campaign tried to educate pupils how to draw, and color, as well as highlighting the most important characteristics of them.
Moreover, drug awareness symposium was launched in the village to raise awareness about the major challenge that illicit drugs represent to society as a whole, and especially to the young. The goal of the symposium is to mobilize support and inspire people to act against drug use.
