Within the framework of the presidential initiative Haya Karima, South Valley University ( SVU ) organized a medical campaign in Al-Naquib Village, Nag Hammadi. The campaign examined and treated 491 patients for free in the following specializations: Ophthalmology (93 cases), Orthopedics (57 cases), Ear, Nose & Throat (33 cases), Gynecology and Obstetrics (55 cases), Psychiatry (5 cases), Pediatrics (85 cases), Dermatology (83 cases), and Internal Medicine (80 cases). Moreover, drug awareness campaign was launched in the village as stated by Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary.
