Within the framework of the presidential initiative Haya Karima, South Valley University (SVU) organized a medical campaign in Al-Halfaya kebly , Nag Hammadi. The campaign examined and treated 641 patients for free in the following specializations: Orthopedics (120 cases), Ear, Nose & Throat (35 cases), Gynecology and Obstetrics (10 cases), Psychiatry (one case), Pediatrics (90 cases), Dermatology (135 cases), and Internal Medicine (100 cases). Moreover, drug awareness campaign was launched in the village to raise awareness about the major challenge that illicit drugs represent to society as a whole, and especially to the young. The goal of the campaign is to mobilize support and inspire people to act against drug use.
