Prof. Ahmed Akawy, President of South Valley University, received Dr. Hany El-Salamouny, CEO of Enroot Development Foundation, along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Prof. Mohamed Said, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Mohamed Wael Abdel Azim, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Essam El-Din Abdel Hadi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.
The purpose of the meeting was to explore avenues for strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of training, student capacity-building, and innovation support.
Prof. Akawy praised the fruitful collaboration with Enroot, particularly in promoting the culture of self-employment and raising youth awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship. He emphasized the university’s strong commitment to creating a supportive environment that fosters training programs and helps prepare qualified graduates capable of competing in the labor market.
He also highlighted the university’s efforts in addressing climate change and its notable progress in international climate-related rankings.
