Starting the 8th Conference for Young Researchers activities at the Faculty of Engineering


 

Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, witnessed the launch of the 8th Conference for Young Researchers in the fields of Basic Sciences, Engineering, and Computer Science and Information at the Faculty of Engineering. The conference included participation from the Faculties of Science and Computers and Information in Qena, and the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence in Hurghada. The event was attended by Dr. Abbas Mansour, former University President; Dr. Mahmoud Khodary, former Vice President; Dr. Farag Khodary, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Conference Chair; Dr. Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Honorary Conference Chair; Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information and Honorary Conference Chair; and Dr. Hussein Maghraby, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Graduate Studies and Research and Executive Conference Chair.

Dr. Ahmed Akkawi emphasized that scientific research is the primary role of researchers and scientists and is essential for the advancement of universities. He highlighted that the prioritization of scientific research by South Valley University has contributed to its advanced position in the rankings of Arab and African universities. He stressed the importance of everyone’s contribution to elevating the status of the university and maintaining its progress so that it can fulfil its role in leading the region.
