Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president and Prof. Dr. Hefny Ismail , Vice President for Student Affairs (41) sports tournament of the Egyptian universities and institutes (Tournament of Martyr Rifay) was concluded for 2014, which organized by the Sports Union of Egyptian Universities in collaboration with the Egyptian universities , where South Valley University won the first rank in Futsal for preliminary tournament for which includes the universities ( Minia – Sohag – South Valley ) that hosted by South Valley University in the period from April 9- 10, 2014.
