South Valley University’s First Student Delegation Visits Cairo International Book Fair


Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, and Dr. Badawy Shehata, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, a student delegation participated in the activities of the 56th Cairo International Book Fair, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center.

 

Dr. Akkawy emphasized that the university’s participation in the fair aligns with national efforts to promote cultural identity and awareness among students. The event features seminars, lectures, workshops, and an extensive international presence, with representatives from 80 countries.

 

Dr. Badawy Shehata added that the first delegation included 46 students under the supervision of the university’s General Administration for Student Welfare. He highlighted the significance of student engagement in the fair, which hosts 600 activities, 1,345 publishing houses, and 6,150 exhibitors showcasing various publications.
