Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, and Prof. Dr. Badawy Shehat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, South Valley University organized a student visit to the Suez Canal Authority in Ismailia in coordination with the Military Education Authority at the University within the framework of the implementation of the state’s strategy in the participation of university youth in introducing national projects and developing their spirit of loyalty and belonging.
The student delegation has been received at the Suez Canal Authority building in Ismailia Governorate, where the visit began with a presentation on the Suez Canal old & new, followed by a visit to the tunnels of the new Suez Canal and the crossing from the west to the east of the canal finally the sailing in the new Suez Canal, with the accompanying of Lieutenant Colonel Ashraf Baghdady Mohamed, Director of Military Education at the University, Dr. Mohamed Emara, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Media, Dr. Mahmoud Kamal, Teacher at the Faculty of Commerce, Mr. Mohamed Walid and Mr. Ashraf Rashad.
