South Valley University Sets Admission Conditions for University Housing for the Academic Year 2024/2025


Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, approved the minutes of the meeting of the Committee on Admission Rules for male and female students to reside in university housing for the academic year 2024/2025, which outlines the following conditions:

 

First: For Female Students:

– Returning female students from the previous year who achieved grades of “Excellent” or “Very Good” in all faculties will be accommodated.

– New female students born in 2007 and those born in September, October, November, and December 2006 from all faculties will also be accommodated.

 

Second: For Male Students:

– Returning male students from the previous year who achieved grades of “Excellent” or “Very Good” in all faculties will be accommodated.

– New male students born in 2007 and those born in September, October, November, and December 2006 from all faculties will also be accommodated.

 

Third: Regarding Medical Examinations and Drug Testing for Students Who Meet the Housing Conditions:

– Students who meet the housing conditions are required to submit the results of their medical examination and drug test for admission to university housing. Those who fail to provide these results by the specified deadline will be denied housing.

 

Fourth: Regarding the Fees for the First Instalment and Monthly Accommodation Fees:

– For the payment of the accommodation fees (first instalment), all students who meet the housing conditions can pay an amount of (785 EGP) through all electronic payment channels.

– The monthly accommodation fee thereafter will be (650 EGP) including meals.

– Students who pay the first instalment will be accommodated starting Sunday, October 6, 2024.

 

Fifth: Regarding the Deadline for Submitting Appeals from Students in Difficult Social Situations:

– The General Administration of University Housing is tasked with receiving appeals from Wednesday, September 25, 2024, to Thursday, October 10, 2024, from students who do not meet the housing conditions but are in urgent need of accommodation due to their social, economic, or health circumstances. They will be evaluated, and a list of accepted applicants will be presented to the committee for approval at the next meeting.
