South Valley University President Reviews Progress in Infrastructure Projects


Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, reviewed the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects at the university during a meeting attended by Dr. Jumana Dawood, the university’s engineering advisor, and Engineer Mohamed Kamel, General Director of the Engineering Administration.

 

During the meeting, Dr. Akkawi examined the status of key infrastructure projects currently under development, including the emergency road for the National University. He reviewed the engineering drawings for the road, gate dimensions, service chambers, and electricity sources.

 

The president emphasized the importance of upgrading the university’s road network to meet international standards, ensuring maximum safety and security for university members. He also stressed the need to consider future expansions in the education sector and university hospitals, while focusing on the following priorities:

 

– Developing the area surrounding the Faculty of Physical Therapy, including the provision of comprehensive services.

– Improving the space behind the Faculties of Nursing and Specific Education, with attention to aesthetic aspects and maximizing the use of available areas.

 

Dr. Akkawi reiterated the university’s commitment to advancing its infrastructure to support academic excellence and enhance the overall experience of its students and staff.
