South Valley University participated in the Medical Campaign in Al-Arky Village, Farshout


Within the framework of the presidential initiative Haya Karima, South Valley University (SVU) participated in the medical campaign in Al-Arky Village, Farshout. In cooperation with Health Affairs Directorate in Qena, the campaign examined and treated 840 patients for free in the following specializations: Orthopedics (184 cases), Ear, Nose & Throat (53 cases), Gynecology and Obstetrics (52 cases), Psychiatry (5 cases), Dentistry (85 cases), Urology (22 cases), General Surgery (13 cases), Pediatrics (85 cases), Dermatology (120 cases), and Internal Medicine (113 cases). Moreover, drug awareness campaign was launched in the village to raise awareness about the major challenge that illicit drugs represent to society as a whole, and especially to the young. The goal of the campaign is to mobilize support and inspire people to act against drug use.
