The first of the annual summer awareness meetings organized by South Valley University for its students in the governorates of Qena, Luxor, and the Red Sea to participate in the national literacy project has commenced in the Qena City Council hall. The event is held under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, the university president, and Dr. Mohamed Said, the vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development, with the presence of university coordinators, officials from the Adult Education Authority in Qena, and a large number of university students.
Several officials from the Adult Education Authority in Qena participated in the meeting, including Mr. Abdel Nasser Ahmed, the coordinator of the Faculty of Commerce, Ms. Shaimaa Mohamed, the coordinator of the Faculty of Arts, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Hafiz, the deputy head of Qena City Council, and Mr. Mohamed Ezz, the general secretary of the council. They greeted the participants from the university and the authority, emphasizing the ongoing collaboration between the governorate and the university in various fields.
