South Valley University medical campaigns in the villages of Aswan


Two medical campaigns were organized by Community Service and Environmental Affairs sector under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sohair Hamdy, Vice-president of the sector.

With the participation of doctors and pharmacists of the university, free treatment was provided to 228 patients in Nasr Al-Nouba center, Abu Simbel in the following specializations: Internal medicine (38 cases), Ophthalmology (43 cases), Ear, Nose and Throat (39 cases), Obstetrics and Gynecology (24 cases), Pediatrics (65 cases) and Pulmonology (19 cases). As for the second day in West Suhail village, the free treatment was provided to 522 patients in the following specializations: Internal medicine (86 cases), Ophthalmology (89 cases), Orthopedics (94 cases), Obstetrics and Gynecology (85 cases), Pediatrics (85 cases) and Pulmonology (83 cases).

Needless to say, that the university will continue to provide free curative services to reach all villages, especially the neediest areas.
