South Valley University Medical Campaign in Abu Al-Khairaba Village, Farshout Center, Qena Governorate.


Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassar, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, SVU organized a medical campaign for Abu Al-Khairaba Village, Farshout Center, Qena Governorate.
Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary indicated that the medical campaign examined and treated 877 patients from residents of the village for free in the following specializations: 60 cases in Internal Medicine, 300 cases in ophthalmology, 180 instances in Orthopedics, 37 cases in Nose, Ear &Throat, 20 cases in obstetrics and gynecology, 140 cases in Pediatrics, 125 cases in Dermatology, 15 cases in psychological & neurological, in addition to 10 instances of disabled people, The Vice President of the University added that the Fund of the Treatment and Control of Addiction raised awareness of residents of the village about the dangers of addiction and how to treat and prevent it and they also distributed leaflets and posters on methods of treatment and prevention of addiction.
