Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, announced the launch of a project aimed at equipping students with 21st-century skills in collaboration with the Education Development Fund under the Presidency of the Cabinet. This project includes a series of training courses designed to enhance students’ capabilities and expand their knowledge base, particularly in the field of information technology.
Dr. Akkawi explained that the courses cover essential areas such as:
Introduction to Cybersecurity-
– Fundamentals of Cybersecurity
Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital Transformation –
Network Fundamentals-
Introduction to Data Science-
Information Technology-
Ethical Hacking –
The project’s executive committee includes, Dr. Ahmed Helmy, Director of the E-Learning Center, Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology and the University’s IT Advisor, Dr. Tarek El-Kashf, Director of the Quality Assurance Center and Ahmed Hamdy, General Manager of the President’s Office.
The initiative is aimed at preparing students to excel in the rapidly evolving technological landscape and improve their professional competitiveness in the 21st-century job market.
