South Valley University Convoy in Gamaleya Village, Qos Centre, Qena.


With the framework of the participation in the presidential initiative “Hayah Karima” Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Kamal Nasari, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the University organized a multidisciplinary medical convoy toGamaleya Village, Qos Centre, Qena.

Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy said that the convoy examined and provided free treatment for 719 cases from the people of the village in many disciplines, including internal medicine, ophthalmia, orthopedic, nose, ear, throat, gynecology diseases, pediatric, dermatology, psychological and neurological, and some case of the disabled, with the participation of The University’s Support Centre for Persons with Special Needs, where eight children with psychological and physical difficulties were examined and met with their families to determine how best to deal with and how to follow up. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Kamal Nasari added that the Fund for the Prevention and Treatment of Addiction carried out work to raise awareness of the risks of addiction and the treatment methods for the people of the village.
