Within the framework of the presidential initiative “Hayah Karima ” South Valley University organized under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasary, Vice President for Community Services and Environmental Development Affairs, a multidisciplinary campaign to Al-Azazia Village, Deshna Center, Qena Governate. The President of the University pointed out that the medical campaign examined and treated 581 patients from the villagers for free in the following specializations: 100 patients in the specialty of ophthalmology, 146 instances in Orthopedics, 60 patients in Nose, Ear &Throat, 30 patients in Gynecology and Obstetrics, 80 patients in Pediatrics, 95 patients in Dermatology, 10 cases in psychological & neurological, and 60 patients in the Internal Medicine. Moreover, the campaign held awarenesses seminars with the villagers discussed the dangers of drug addiction and distributed publications & posters.
