Seminar on “The Role of Media in Combating Corruption” at the Faculty of Dentistry


As part of the 17th Environmental Week organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at South Valley University from February 23-27, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry hosted a seminar titled “The Role of Media in Combating Corruption.”

 

The event was held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Said, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. It was attended by Dr. Ahmed Talaat Temirk, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Al-Tayeb Abdel Razek, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

 

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Karima, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Technology for Postgraduate Studies, who highlighted the crucial role of media in combating corruption. She emphasized the importance of raising ethical and preventive awareness in society and the organization of public awareness campaigns to support anti-corruption efforts.
