Seminar on “Circular Economy” at the Faculty of Specific Education


As part of the 17th Environmental Week activities at South Valley University, a seminar on the circular economy was held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of the University, Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Amr Abdelkader, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Dr. Badriya Hassan Ali, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Atiyat Al-Shawari, Professor in the Home Economics Department, who discussed the definition, importance, and objectives of the circular economy. She also highlighted the role of individuals in promoting sustainable economic practices, presented real-world examples, and reviewed the state’s efforts in this field.
