Dr. Ahmed Akawy, President of South Valley University, expressed his deep pride and appreciation for the recognition of Dr. Ahmed Aboubakr Abdel-Wareth, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture in Qena and Visiting Professor at Prairie View A&M University, Texas, USA. Dr. Abdel-Wareth was awarded the 2025 Excellence in Research Award by the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences (CAFNR).
This award comes in recognition of Dr. Abdel-Wareth’s distinguished contributions to the field of sustainable poultry research and his efforts in developing innovative scientific studies that address global agricultural challenges, in addition to his role in advancing academic excellence and supporting the mission of the university in the fields of agriculture, food, and natural resources.
President Akawy congratulated Dr. Abdel-Wareth on this achievement, which reflects the research excellence of South Valley University’s scholars and faculty members.
