General Ashraf Al-Daoudy, Governor of Qena, and Major General Walid Hamid Al-Hamaky, Commander of the Popular and Military Defence Forces, inspected several pieces of equipment lined up at the Al-Waqf Centre’s Al-Marashda village as part of the joint operational training on crisis and disaster response by Saqr 113 conducted by the province in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defence Forces, were accompanied by Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor, Hossam Hammouda, Secretary General of the Governorate, Mohamed Salah Abu Kreisha, Assistant Secretary General, General Mohamed Ghoneim, Military Advisor, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Mossa, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education at South Valley University, several leaders of the armed forces, and a group of executive leaders in the governorate.
The show began with topographic and tactical guidance of the queuing ground, where Qena Military School presented a silent show that expressed the level of discipline and skills of its students, as well students of the Faculty of Physical Education at South Valley University presented a sportive show that included a review of the endurance and physical and mental fitness enjoyed by the Faculty students.
The Assistant Commander of the Popular Defense Forces praised the joint practical training to confront crises and natural disasters, which is implemented by Qena Governorate, as it has characterized by good preparation and processing, comprehensive and integrated reports, as well as scenarios and practical exercises that have carried out, which contribute to the speed of controlling natural or sabotage accidents if they occur to preserve lives and property and achieve the desired goals.
