Major General Dr. Mostafa El-Beblawy, Governor of Qena; Professor Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of Qena University; and Professor Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of South Valley National University, attended the educational seminar organized by South Valley National University under the title “October Victory: A Determination That Made the Impossible Possible.”
The seminar featured a lecture delivered by Major General Pilot Staff Dr. Hesham El-Helbawy, Advisor to the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies. The event was organized as part of the University’s celebrations commemorating the glorious October Victories and its efforts to promote national awareness among students.
The event was attended by Professor Dr. Mohamed Mahgoub Ezzat, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of South Valley National University; Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qena; Professor Dr. Mohamed Ismail, Academic Vice President of the National University; Dr. Ali El-Din Abdel Badi El-Qasabi, Student Activities Coordinator; directors of academic programs; representatives of the Qena Directorate of Endowments; representatives of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese; and a number of executive leaders from Qena Governorate.
The seminar commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of the martyrs of the October War, and a minute of silence in memory of the late Professor Dr. Abdel Motein Moussa, former President of South Valley University.
