President of South Valley University Welcomes “Nawara” Team, Winners of GEN Z Competition


Dr. Ahmed Akawi, President of South Valley University, welcomed the “Nawara” team from the university, which excelled in the “Gen Z” program, the first competition show dedicated to supporting university student innovators. The program encourages entrepreneurial and innovative ideas, and the team received funding of 850,000 EGP for their outstanding participation.

 

The reception was attended by Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Abu El-Wafa, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Abir Saad, Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the Faculty of Pharmacy, South Valley University.

 

The university president congratulated the talented students and listened to their experience with their entrepreneurial project, which transforms date pits into natural cosmetic products.

 

Dr. Akawi praised the achievement of the university’s students, emphasizing the university’s commitment to discovering and supporting creative and distinguished students, both morally and financially. He highlighted the importance of such efforts in keeping pace with the rapid changes of the modern era and contributing to the realization of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
