Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of South Valley University, received a delegation from the Franciscan Cultural Center of the Franciscan Order of Coptic Studies. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abou El Fadl Badran, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development. The delegation included Father Estephanus Aziz, Pastor of the Church of the Virgin and Father Melad Shehata, Director of the Franciscan Center for Coptic Studies. A joint Cooperation project between the Franciscan Center and the South Valley University was presented. The delegation discussed with the university president several issues relating to Coptic studies in all its branches ( manuscripts, studies and researches.) The visit came within the framework of the invitation of the university president to attend the third Franciscan Conference. The university president expressed his thanks and appreciation for this invitation. for this conference, which will draw the attention of the world to this center, which has many scientific activities.
