Prof. Dr. Youssef Ghrabawy, president of the University received a group the Egyptian Accreditation Council which includes Dr. Sherif Abd Rahman, professor at Faculty of Medicine, Helwan University, Dr. Sherif Ahmed from the national center for researches who made a visit to the electronic and nanometric labs at Faculty of Science, with the goal of evaluating to get the international accreditation at the field of measurement labs . Dr. Khalid Ibn Al-Waleed, manager of the electronics and nanometric devices labs pointed that the lab consists of 4 units which are biotechnology unit, devices manufacturing unit, measurements unit, and preparation of nanometric samples unit. The lab deals with various industrial and research institution.
This visit aimed at evaluating 2 tests at the lab which are quantifying and distributing nanometric substances and measuring photo characteristics of substances in preparation to get ISO certification.
