Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, conducted an inspection tour of the university’s colleges to monitor the regularity of classes.
During the tour, Akkawy observed the presence of faculty members and staff, as well as the adherence to the lecture schedules published on the colleges’ websites. He congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year and encouraged them to make the most of the educational process and student activities.
The president also ensured the readiness of lecture halls, laboratories, libraries, and student activity rooms. He emphasized the university’s commitment to developing learning resources and educational outcomes, and to providing an attractive environment for students in line with the university’s role in offering high-quality higher education.
Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, followed up on the orientation camps for new students, with the participation of the General Administration for Student Welfare, and confirmed the provision of various support services for students. He added that the university has a diverse plan for student activities throughout the year aimed at developing students’ skills and increasing their knowledge base. The tour was attended by the deans of the faculties of law and commerce, faculty members, their assistants, and a large number of students.
