Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, held a meeting to discuss the establishment of a Documentation Center at the university. The meeting was attended by Dr. Badawy Shehat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Wael Abdel-Azim, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information; Dr. Mohamed Omran, Director of the Career Development Center; Mr. Abdel-Razek Hussein, Assistant Secretary-General of the University; and directors of the Student Affairs, Human Resources, Legal Affairs, and Postgraduate Studies departments.
Dr. Akkawi emphasized that the Documentation Center would serve as a hub for all university-related documents for the staff, students, and faculty of South Valley University. The aim is to simplify access to these documents when needed and enable users to securely and efficiently utilize university services through a digital application.
He noted that the center aligns with the university’s vision of offering integrated, high-quality electronic services, making all types of university documents easily accessible. This initiative is expected to save time and effort while facilitating quick and seamless access to informational content.
The center will have a dedicated location within the university and a board of directors responsible for acquiring, organizing, and safeguarding official documents while ensuring their proper management and preservation.
