Opening the Sixth International Upper Egypt Salon in Luxor


In the presence of Arab and foreign artists from 20 countries, Vice-president for Postgraduate and Research Affairs Prof. Mahmoud Khodari Maeila Hamed and the previous Vice-president for Luxor Campus Prof. Saleh Abdel Moatty opened the sixth International Upper Egypt Salon at Faculty of Fine arts in Luxor. Not only 120 artists from 20 countries participated in the salon but also a lot of alumni and students from Faculty of Fine arts presented their artistic works. The salon aimed at attracting many artists from all over the world to strengthen the bonds of love and peace among peoples through art and activating the fine art and cultural movement in Upper Egypt. A related point to consider is honoring the Arabian artist Abdel Salaam Eid and the Italian artist Antonella Leoni for their distinguished works.
