On Dec.3, 2017, the young researchers’ conference was opened at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine where the university president Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour emphasized the importance of the conference in promoting the scientific research and encouraging the scientific cooperation. Also, he referred to the available funding opportunities from the EU. The conference aimed to serve the community through discussing the importance developments, scientifically solving the issues and transferring experiences among the researchers. The university has done its best in promoting the scientific research through organizing conferences and funding the scientific projects so it organized the conference for the first time in 2013.
