Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour , the university president opened 1st
International Conference on Nanotechnology Science and its applications,
which is organized by the university in the period from February 25 –
28, 2014 in Qena and Luxor , headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khodary, Vice
President for Postgraduate and Research, where the university president
stressed in his speech at the opening of the conference on university’s
keenness to support the scientific research system by holding many of
conferences and workshops in various fields beside supporting the skills
development of students through Career Development Center at the
university , while the university is keen to implement many of the
research projects, stressing on the importance of holding Nanotechnology
Conference because of its importance in the fields of scientific
research,
On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khodary, the vice president and the
President of the Conference confirmed that the conference will discuss
nanotechnology science and its applications through a group of
distinguished scientists from Britain, India, Sweden, Saudi Arabia , and
various Egyptian universities , pointing out that the university’s
keenness to hold many events and meeting all needs of the community,
where this conference serves disciplines of engineering , science,
agriculture and medicine.
In addition to Dr. Wael Farghaly , head of the Organizing Committee of
the Conference added that the conference will discuss (55) research in
various fields of nanotechnology applications such as engineering
applications, medical , biological, and restoration of monuments , in
the presence of Prof. Dr. Hefny Ismail, Vice President for Student
Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sayed Taha , Vice President for Community Service ,
the deans and academic staff and guests of the conference.
