
Professor Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inspected the pavilion of South Valley University at the Higher Education and Universities Exhibition organized by Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, held from August 13 to 14, 2025, at the Cairo International Convention Center in Nasr City. The university’s participation highlights its distinguished presence among public, private, and national universities, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and societal engagement.
The university’s participation in the exhibition took place under the patronage of Professor Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Professor Ahmed Akkawi, President of the University, and under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Wael Abdel Azim, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. The initiative reflects the university’s dedication to strengthening societal outreach and showcasing its advanced academic programs tailored to meet the demands of both local and international labor markets.
Professor Akkawi emphasized the pivotal role of the university in delivering high-quality education across its 95 academic programs offered through 20 colleges and institutes. These programs encompass a wide range of disciplines, with the overarching aim of preparing well-qualified graduates capable of contributing to national development. He further highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s sustainable development goals and Vision 2030, thereby affirming its central role in advancing education, research, and community service.
