Dr. Mohamed Youssef Ahmed, Executive Director of Qena University Hospitals stated that a medical team from orthopedic and anesthesia departments at Qena University Hospital succeeded in re-attach a child’s hand after a complete amputation through a sensitive surgery that requires special skills.
The surgery took about 10 hours but the patient is now in a stable condition.
