As a part of the digital transformation of all services provided to citizens in the medical sector at South Valley University, and in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development, Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, held a meeting to discuss the launch of the “Request Care or Nursery” application.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali Abdel Rahman Gweil, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information; Dr. Hegagy Mansour, Executive Director of University Hospitals; and the application development team.
The application aims to empower citizens, regardless of their social status, to officially and securely communicate with university hospitals and submit requests for medical care or access to nurseries. Recognizing that providing intensive care at all levels is one of the greatest challenges facing university hospitals, it was essential to develop a governance framework for managing intensive care units and pediatric nurseries through this project.
This initiative is part of the university’s efforts to prepare its hospitals for accreditation by the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Regulation, reflecting a commitment to enhancing healthcare services and ensuring quality standards in service delivery.
