Inauguration of “Dokan Al-Farha” at South Valley University


Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, inaugurated the “Dokan Al-Farha” exhibition on Monday, organized by the “Tahya Misr” Fund under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic. The event, held at the university’s indoor hall, aims to provide 20,000 new clothing items to over 4,000 students from underprivileged backgrounds.

 

The opening was attended by Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hussein Abu Al-Magd, Director of the Center for Special Needs at the university; Abdel-Razek Hussein, Assistant Secretary-General of the university; a representative of the “Tahya Misr” Fund; and a group of administrative leaders.

 

Dr. Ahmed Akkawi praised the efforts of the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in launching initiatives to support students and families in need, alleviating their burdens. He highlighted the “Tahya Misr” Fund campaign to provide 2 million clothing items, the largest clothing campaign organized for students of Egyptian public universities under the banner “Dokan Al-Farha – 2 million Smiles.”

 

The University President extended his gratitude to the “Tahya Misr” Fund and everyone involved in implementing this noble initiative.
