Important Announcement: “Invitation to convene a general assembly and conduct the annual elections to renew one-third of the Faculty Members’ Treatment Fund Board”


Dear esteemed members of the General Assembly of the Faculty Members’ Treatment Fund, including faculty members, their assistants, and families
The Board of Trustees of the Fund is pleased to announce that Dr. Ahmed Akawi, the University President, has approved the invitation to convene the General Assembly on Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Grand Conference Hall of the University. The nomination process for renewing one-third of the Board of Trustees (two members) is now open according to the following conditions and rules:

First: Conditions for candidacy (Article 35 of the Fund’s regulations
Candidates must enjoy their civil and political rights and must not have been previously convicted of a crime affecting their honor unless rehabilitated.

Second: Timeline:
1-Opening of the candidacy period: July 4, 2024
2-Deadline for receiving applications: July 17, 2024
3-Examination of applications and announcement of the final list of accepted candidates on July 18, through a committee comprising:
– prof. Mohamed Roshdi, Dean of the Faculty of Law – Chairman
-Mr. Ali Amer, Director General of Legal Affairs – Member
-Mr. Emad Fikri, Director General of Governance and Internal Audit – Member
4-Elections and announcement of results: July 22, 2024
5-Period for appeals and their adjudication within one week
Approval of the elected council by the University President and commencement of duties starting August 2024

-Statement of current status
-Copy of national ID card
