Implementation of Electronic Governance for Engineering Projects at the University


        Prof. Ahmed Akawy, President of South Valley University, reviewed the implementation of electronic governance across all ongoing, future, and planned engineering projects within the University. The review session was attended by Eng. Ali Fikry, Director General of the General Administration of Information Systems and Digital Transformation, and Eng. Ahmed El-Naggar from the Information Center.

      Prof. Akawy stated that the launch of the “Tasheed” application, dedicated to the management of engineering projects, comes within the University’s orientation towards comprehensive digital transformation. He emphasized that the application constitutes a qualitative step that will directly enhance the efficiency and timeliness of project execution.

       He further explained that the application will provide the University with an integrated system for managing contractor relations and monitoring projects according to defined timelines, thereby ensuring transparency and accuracy at all stages of implementation.

         During the meeting, the University President followed up on the progress of the project, the inventory of engineering works, the categorization functions within the application, user access permissions for the project team, stages of project implementation, and the issuance of periodic progress reports.
