Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, and Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and General Leader of the Horace Family at the university, attended a seminar titled “Rumors and Their Harm to Society.” The seminar was presented by Major General Dr. Hani Sharif, Assistant Head of the Psychological Operations Department in the Armed Forces.
The event, organized by the Horace Family, also saw the presence of Dr. Abbas Mansour, Former President of the University, Dr. Imad Abu Al-Qasem, Former Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Hani Al-Dessouki, Deputy General Leader of the Horace Family and the supervisor of the seminar, and coordinators from various faculties, along with a large student audience.
Dr. Akkawi welcomed Major General Dr. Hani Sharif and emphasized the university’s commitment to hosting valuable awareness seminars that contribute to expanding students’ knowledge, raising their awareness of current challenges, and equipping them with the tools to confront and combat dangers, including the spread of rumors that undermine societal stability.
