Prof. Ahmed Akgawy, President of South Valley University, honored the students of the Faculty of Computers and Information in recognition of their remarkable achievement in the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), in which more than 2,000 teams representing 119 Egyptian universities competed. Two teams from the Faculty successfully qualified for the final stage of the Arab and African Collegiate Programming and Problem-Solving Contest (ICPC), scheduled to be held in Luxor Governorate from December 5 to 9, 2025.
The honoring ceremony also included Prof. Emad Ali Amer, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Dr. Nahla Fathy, Vice Dean of the Faculty, in recognition of their dedicated efforts in supporting and mentoring students to achieve this distinguished accomplishment.
