Governor of Qena and President of South Valley University Honor The Winner of The State Encouragement Prize


General Ashraf Al-Daoudy, governor of Qena and Professor Youssef Grabawy, president of the university honored professor Hamouda Mohamed Dardir on receiving the state encouragement prize of engineering sciences for 2020. General Al-Daoudy praised the University’s role in education and scientific research, considering it as a beacon of science in Qena governorate, pointing that the University is an essential partner for implementing the inclusive development plans in Qena.

It’s noteworthy to mention that Dr. Dardir has 30 international researches in materials engineering and nanotechnology in different applications. His research which received the prized can be summarized in the applications of medical slides of magnesium and nanometrical materials of biopolymers in manufacturing stents and medical tissue engineering, and also in the field of membranes in the treatment of wastewater and water mixed with oil in industrial processes. Professor Gamal Taj, Dean of Faculty of Engineering witnessed the cermony.
