Governor of Qena and President of South Valley University Discuss Collaboration between University and Health Directorate Hospitals


Dr. Khaled Abdel-Halim, Governor of Qena, and Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, held a coordination meeting to enhance collaboration between the Directorate of Health and Population hospitals and South Valley University hospitals, aiming to improve the quality of medical services provided to citizens.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qena; Dr. Ahmed Hashim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Haggagi Mansour, Executive Director of the University Hospitals; Dr. Mohamed Yahya Badran, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health; Dr. Mohamed El-Dib, Director of the General Hospital; and directors of the university hospitals at Abbar and the campus, as well as emergency hospitals and Ministry of Health hospitals in the governorate.

The meeting included discussions and exchanges of views and suggestions regarding the coordination between the Directorate of Health hospitals and the university hospitals, particularly concerning emergency cases, to provide high-quality medical services and alleviate the burden on patients.
