Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, announced that the university has been listed in the 2024 “Times Higher Education Arab Universities Ranking” for the fourth consecutive year. The university was ranked in the “141-160 category” out of 315 universities and educational institutions from 20 Arab countries included in the ranking.
Dr. Mohamed Wael, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, highlighted that the Times Higher Education Ranking evaluates universities based on 13 performance indicators across five key areas: research quality, international reputation, research environment, teaching, and societal impact. He also explained that this ranking is based on data from the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
This recognition underscores South Valley University’s commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and its role in contributing to society and the global academic community.
