The Fund for Supporting Innovators and Geniuses announces the “Smart Education Hackathon” under the theme Applications: Egypt’s Digital Future. The event, organized by Benha University, is scheduled for February and targets students from universities and institutes across Egypt.
This initiative reflects the commitment to fostering innovation and enhancing the digital capabilities of youth in line with Egypt’s digital transformation goals and the application of artificial intelligence in various fields.
The hackathon aims to support digital transformation and achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030 by encouraging innovation and inspiring creative students to present innovative solutions in areas such as:
– Remote learning
– Interactive education
– Flexible learning tools
– Language learning platforms
– Gamification of education
– Learner support systems
– Data analytics for education
The total prize pool has been doubled to 280,000 EGP, distributed across seven tracks. The first-place winner will receive 20,000 EGP, second place 12,000 EGP, and third place 8,000 EGP.
The application deadline has been extended to January 15, and all students from Egyptian universities and institutes are invited to participate with their ideas via the following link:
