Electric Golf Cars at South Valley University

As part of South Valley University’s commitment to promoting a green economy under the leadership of Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of the University, and adopting modern technologies, knowledge, and innovation to mitigate environmental risks, the university announced the arrival of seven eco-friendly electric golf cars.

These vehicles will be used for transportation within the university campus and between university hospitals, aiming to reduce environmental pollution.

Dr. Akkawi highlighted the university’s dedication to meeting environmental standards across its practices. South Valley University holds a distinguished position among universities in sustainability rankings.

Electric vehicles are environmentally friendly as they produce no harmful emissions and have lower operating costs compared to traditional vehicles. The golf cars are compact, easy to drive, and ideal for navigating the university’s narrow spaces. Powered by electricity, they further contribute to reducing harmful emissions, supporting the university’s efforts toward sustainability.
